Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro will soon receive new software updates. This update will enable these devices to enhance your Galaxy phone’s camera experience.

The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro will be able to record 360 audio with this update, allowing you to add immersive sound to your Galaxy phone’s video. With this update, your Galaxy Watch’s Camera Controller will get a new zoom feature.

With Samsung’s wearable devices, you can have a better camera experience

The 360 Audio Recording feature will record sound exactly as it sounds in real life on video. As a result, you no longer need to invest in costly professional equipment to record videos with realistic audio.

The microphones in each earbud allow for 360-degree sound to be picked up by this feature. Users will have the impression of being a part of the action in real life when watching the video on an audio device that supports 360-degree audio, such as the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.

The first Galaxy feature to make use of the Bluetooth LE Audio standard is 360 Audio Recording. By simultaneously using the left and right microphones, it also makes it possible to record audio in both directions on the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. When paired with a Galaxy phone that supports LE Audio and runs One UI 5.0 or higher, users of the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro can enable this feature. This includes upcoming Samsung phones as well as the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4.

Users of the Galaxy Watch can use the Camera Controller app to control their device’s camera from their wrist. Zoom functionality has been added to the Camera Controller app in a new update that is being released for the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 5.

The phone camera’s zoom can be controlled remotely from a user’s wrist. To zoom in or out, they only need to pinch the watch face or rotate the bezel. It will be very simple to take selfies or group shots from a distance with this.

Beginning today, a gradual rollout of the software update for the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro that makes it possible to use the 360 Audio Recording feature will begin. Beginning in February, the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 4 series will receive the camera zoom feature.
