The release of the Samsung Galaxy M54 5G in India seems to be getting closer. The phone is likely to be available shortly after the global debut of the flagship Galaxy S23 series on February 1. The Galaxy M54 5G, a new mid-range smartphone with 5G connectivity, is expected to be unveiled by Samsung, even though everyone’s attention is naturally focused on the flagship series. However, Samsung is reportedly set to unveil a new mid-range smartphone with 5G connectivity called the Galaxy M54 5G.
Renders of the Samsung Galaxy M54 5G show the design
According to the source report, the Samsung Galaxy M54 5G will have slim, uniform bezels but a slightly thicker “chin” bezel. The smartphone appears to have a flat display and a triple-camera setup on the rear, but there is no marked camera module. This is a change from the quad-camera setup that the country currently offers on its predecessor, the Galaxy M53 5G.
A punch-hole for the front camera on the display, a power button with an integrated fingerprint sensor to the right, volume buttons above the power button, and a SIM tray to the left are other essential features of the phone. However, the phone’s ports are not visible in the renders. However, considering that the Galaxy M53 lacked a 3.5mm audio port, it is highly unlikely that the M54 will either.
The Samsung Galaxy M54 5G has been shown off in two colors: dark blue and a multi-color gradient finish with shades of silver, blue, pink, and green. The layout of the rear camera system also adheres to Samsung’s most recent flagship design language.
A Geekbench listing suggested that the Samsung Galaxy M54 5G is likely to feature an Exynos 1380 SoC, 8GB of RAM, and Android 13 as its operating system. Other than that, not much is known about the smartphone’s specifications. The camera setup is unknown, but the Galaxy M54 may feature a quad-camera setup with 108 megapixels like the Galaxy M53.
The Samsung Galaxy M54 5G should be priced similarly to the Galaxy M53 5G, which currently costs Rs 23,999 in India.
