This is Unpacked Day, the time of year when Samsung releases excellent new phones and software. Samsung unveiled the brand-new Android 13-based One UI 5.1, which includes several new features and enhancements for Galaxy phones.
During a Google Meet video call, you can now co-edit a document with Samsung Notes using One UI 5.1
One UI 5.1 enhances Samsung Notes, which is already one of the best note-taking applications available. Thanks to Samsung’s partnership with Google, you can co-edit a document with friends or colleagues using Samsung Notes while you are on a Google Meet video call.
Access to the Expert RAW app is now easier
Samsung’s Expert RAW app can now be accessed directly within the Galaxy phone’s native Camera application with One UI 5.1. Users can capture raw images with the Expert RAW app, which is only available on certain Galaxy phones, such as the Z Fold 4 and the S23 and S22 series.
Enhanced Methods and Routines
Routines, a feature that enables you to create a specific series of actions that your phone will trigger based on your activities, is also said to be improved in One UI 5.1, according to rumors. Routines should now be able to control Quick Share, touch sensitivity, the ringtone, and font style with the most recent version of One UI. One UI 5.1, according to rumors, now lets you set wallpapers for the lock and home screens that change based on what you’re doing. You will be able to set a wallpaper for your workout and one for work with this.
English should now be available on Bixby Text Call
One UI 5.1, according to rumors, will also allow you to use Bixby Text Call in English. This feature was added with One UI 5.0, but only Korean-speaking users could use it. If you don’t know what Bixby Text Call is, it’s a feature that lets you automatically answer calls. You can reply to the caller via text message, which is then read aloud by an automated voice, and it also converts the caller’s words into text.
One release of UI 5.1 and supported devices
One UI 5.1 is currently only available on the Galaxy S23 lineup, but Samsung has stated that it will soon be available on other Galaxy phones.
