Samsung, the South Korean tech giant is all set to launch its Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphones on January 17, 2024. The company will launch its most awaited premium flagship series, the Galaxy S24 lineup.
At the event, the company will also launch the AI-related features that will be included in the new devices. Now, new reports have revealed the Galaxy S24 series pre-order benefits for customers in Australia. As per the report from Roland Quandt (via Officeworks), Samsung could offer a free storage upgrade, up to AUD 150 gift card, and up to AUD 500 in trade-in credit on the Galaxy S24 series in Australia.
Samsung Galaxy S24 model pre-order offers
For the Galaxy S24 Ultra, either:
1TB for the RRP of the 512GB variant; or
512GB for the RRP of the 256GB variant, or
For the Galaxy S24+:
512GB for the RRP of the 256GB variant; or
For the Galaxy S24:
512GB for the RRP of the 256GB variant.
Those who pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S24 series online will receive a Digital Mastercard Debit Card ‘Gift Card’. Details for each model are followed below:
Pre-ordering the Galaxy S24 Ultra, customers will get a $150 gift card.
Pre-ordering the Galaxy S24+, customers will receive a $100 gift card.
On pre-order of the Galaxy S24, customers will receive a $100 gift card.
Key Specifications
The Galaxy S24 Ultra would be getting the biggest screen, which could be a 6.8-inch display. The smartphone is expected to launch with up to 12GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
Rumours also suggest the Galaxy S24 Ultra model will launch with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC in all markets including India. The Ultra variant is tipped to house a 200MP primary camera paired with a dual telephoto lens and an ultra-wide-angle sensor. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is also tipped to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
Apart from gift cards and storage upgrades, customers in Australia will also get trade-in benefits on the purchase of the Galaxy S24 series. The trade-in benefit is up to an AUD 500 gift card. Finally, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will be available in titanium black, titanium gray, titanium violet, and titanium yellow, the Galaxy S24/S24+ will be sold in black, gray, violet, and yellow colors.
Apart from the new Galaxy S24 model, the company is also testing One UI 6.1 which will come to many existing Galaxy smartphones and tablets. As per the latest information, Samsung testing One UI 6.1 test firmware for the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 FE, Galaxy A54, and Galaxy A34.
